Research on Atmosphere

Industrial and agricultural activities, domestic and vehicle emissions are anthropogenic emitted particulates in the atmosphere that are displaced through wet (precipitation scavenging) and dry deposition through turbulent wind transport. The heavy metals and other trace contaminants that are of potential threat to humans find its way in the body via inhalation or ingestion or contacted through the dermal pathway and its accumulation could affect the central nervous system. We, at ERRC, facilitates sampling collections from different sites that are selective and collaborate with experts in the field to come up models/correlation on the exposure dose with the health risk assessments.
